Four brave faces of M.E./CFS!
Four girls with M.E./CFS decided one day that they were fed up with the social injustice, medical neglect, and lack of awareness and biomedical research funds for M.E./CFS. They met in a support group and began brain storming on ways to make waves of change. The idea of the Chilli M.E. Challenge took off as friendships formed among these four girls. Let this story inspire others, whether ill or healthy, to believe they can make a huge brave change in the world and give people hope and a light!
NICOLA LAVIN
Nicola Lavin lives in The Republic of Ireland with her son Aaron and supportive husband and has a career as a medical scientist. See her M.E. story on our “My Chilli M.E. Challenge ME Story Video” page.
BRENDA HANKINS
Brenda Hankins lives in the United States of America and is a former occupational therapist, health science promoter, and patient advocate prior to her illness, ironically. See her M.E. story on our “My Chilli M.E. Challenge ME Story Video” page.
CATHERINE SCHOFIELD
Catherine Schofield lives in England in the UK and was born and raised in Northern Ireland and works in a childcare career. See her M.E. story on our “My Chilli M.E. Challenge ME Story Video” page.
LINDSEY MICHELLE
Lindsey Michelle lives in the United States of America and is a former attorney at law. She is very, very ill right now and can hardly answer her phone, sadly missing the launch of the event after all her organization efforts with us. Lindsey’s current health status strengthens our M.E./CFS awareness efforts even more!
Hi
I’m thinking of writing a blog on this for the Phoenix Rising website and wanted to ask a couple of questions. Could you contact me using the supplied email address? Thanks
